The demo is out!
Hello!
I am really excited to finally release the first demo of my current project: Tunnet. While I am planning to release the final game later this year, I simply couldn't wait to share this short demo to the world.
The demo gives access to the first few bunkers of the game and aims to provide an overview of the gameplay mechanics. Keep in mind that it is a Beta demo at the moment: you might still encounter bugs and some areas are still poorly optimized.
I will do my best to keep the saves transferable to the full version of the game (and to the potential future versions of the demo). Also, I recently added gamepad support: this should make the Linux version compatible with the Steam Deck.
Please feel free to provide feedback and report issues using the link in the pause menu (ESC > "Give Feedback").
Have fun!

This is so sick! Wishlisted instantly. I don’t think I’ve seen such a high-quality Bevy project before. Would you mind to tell what learning resources have you used? I’m struggling a bit finding ones for large projects. Anyways, you rock!
Thank you! I went pretty far just by looking at the examples provided in the Bevy repository but I still had to figure out a bunch of things on my own. The Unofficial Bevy Cheat Book also helped a lot.
Yayyy! Will there be more sophisticated routers than Hub?
Yes, there will and the packets will become more complicated to route as well. Thank you for trying out the demo!
Cool demo, loved the atmosphere! I would love to see an option to invert the mouse though.
And possibly a sprint option, unless the movement speed is a deliberate gameplay choice for some content to come.
Thank you for the feedback!
I will try to add an option for inverting the mouse in a future update.
Regarding the sprint, it is currently something that can be unlocked later in the game: but several people mentioned it to me already, so I think I will just make it available right from the start :)
